Geological and Geomorphological Characteristics of High-Priority Landing Sites for the Luna-Glob Mission

Abstract The geomorphological and geological analysis of the surface three primary ten secondary landing ellipses (15 × 30 km) for Russian Luna-Glob automated scientific station ( Luna-25 ) is presented. earlier selected are found in sector 65°–85° S 0°–60° E lunar southern hemisphere. characteristics ellipse include age identification material sources. analyses water equivalent hydrogen concentration rock content on also carried out. constraints, such as inclination characteristic spacecraft’s flight path used prioritization from an engineering-technical perspective. According to results study, 1, 3, 4, 6 8 determined high-priority, while 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, well B1 B2 least favorable.
